INTRODUCCIÓN
An important magazine has decided to organize a contest where the first plave will get as a prize a trip to England. In order to participate the students will have to make an article about their favorite band. The best article will win the trip to England as well as enough money to spend on shopping and other expenses at the trrip
TAREA
You will work in groups of four and make a list of your favorite bands. Choose one band to write about. Then you will write an article about that band. Your article must have at least the following aspects:
-Names of the members and bio
-Clothes, hair and eyes
-Songs
-Type of music
-Something special
-Web site
PROCESO
-Students will choose a band to write about
-Decide who is going to write each part in the article
-You can check some examples of articles describing bands to get some ideas
-You can also check on web search engines such as google or yahoo or in wikipedia to find some information about your favorite bands
-Gather the information that can be useful for you
-Examine and analyse the information you have found. Discuss with the classmates in your group what information you are going to use and why. Propose your choices and your reasons.
-Go to resources to find the most suitable pictures. Do it together as a group work this time.
-Make the article

The article will be evaluated in terms of:
- Originality and creativity
-Correct use of vocabulary to describe people, colors, clothes.
-Correct use of grammar in this case simple present.
-Coherence and cohesion
-Relevant information
CONCLUSIÓN
After completing this project, students have researched information from the internet for didactic purposes and they have learned to create an article in English.
